Anderson Rowntree was delighted once again to host clients at the annual Rude Mechanical Theatre production held at the West Chiltington Recreation Ground.
The weather wasn’t being very co-operative but it didn’t dampen the spirits and conversation before and after another excellent and hilarious show put on by the “Rudes”
We were a lead sponsor on the night and set up camp under our branded gazebo to entertain our guests. Litigation Solicitor, Siobhan Perrigo, put on a wonderful feast – a selection of Indian foods, cold meats, sandwiches and cheese, followed by fairy cakes.
The cast were as always amazing – extremely funny and musically talented and not put off by the showers at various times through the evening.
This year’s play was Ikarus Inc – a story about what it takes to achieve your dream.
Set in the 1950s in the fictitious Indiana town of Dreamville, commercial traveller Daedalus Gildersleeves comes to town selling dreams from his suitcase and soon captivates the community. We met a host of colourful characters with their own stories and reasons for their dreams.
Senior Partner Chris Wise was joined by Managing Partner Will Stisted, Family and Litigation Partner Alastair Sinclair, Private Client Partner Charlotte Woods, Siobhan, as well as Claire Foster and Rebecca Foxall from the Petworth Property team.
The Rude Mechanical Theatre are still on tour. Here is their Summer 2019 programme.
