On the 13th September, we hosted some clients at the prestigious Goodwood Revival - now firmly established as one of the leading national summer events right on our doorstep! The weather was fantastic and everyone looked the part and truly got into the spirit of the event.
The day started with a morning coffee whilst enjoying the aerial display from three World War Two fighter planes spitfires. Once we were onto the circuit we visited the Freddie March Spirit of Aviation static display of historic aeroplanes where we could really feel the atmosphere of this Battle of Britain airfield.
Then it was on to the cars….and what a collection of spectacular machines there were. The sound and the smells of historic motorsport mixed with the beat of a 1950’s rockabilly from Gasoline Alley set the scene for the rest of the day. Before we knew it, it was time for lunch and a classic English picnic was enjoyed by all.
After lunch, it was time to scour the hundreds of shopping opportunities inside the race track and “Over the Road”. Then it was back for afternoon tea before heading off to watch the twilight race which we enjoyed until the sun set and the headlights came on.
The outfits, the effort, the vibe and the people made it a fantastic day spent with great clients at a spectacular event. Thank you to the clients who joined us and thank you Goodwood for putting on such a show!
